This policy explains how Nexcode IT Solutions Private Limited ("Gottilo", "we") processes your personal data when you use https://www.gottilo.com. We act as a Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, mobile number, role (buyer, owner, broker, developer), company and RERA number where applicable.
- Listing data: property details, photos, documents you upload for verification (kept private).
- Activity data: searches, saved homes, inquiries, site visits, offers and messages on the platform.
- Device data: a device identifier cookie, browser type, IP address and last-active time, used to keep your account secure and enforce device limits.
- Payment data: processed by Razorpay or Cashfree. We never see or store your card, UPI PIN or bank credentials; we keep invoice records.
- Google sign-in: if you choose it, we receive your name, email and Google account ID.
2. Why we use it
- To run your account, show listings, match buyers with homes and deliver inquiries to sellers.
- To verify listings and users and to prevent fraud, spam and duplicate listings.
- To send service alerts (new leads, offers, price drops, payments) by in-app notification, email, SMS or WhatsApp — WhatsApp only if you opt in.
- To issue GST invoices and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not make cold sales calls.
3. Who we share it with
- Sellers you contact: when you send an inquiry or unlock a contact, the seller receives your name and mobile number.
- Owners' numbers are masked and shared only with users who unlock them; owners are notified.
- Service providers: payment gateways, SMS/WhatsApp providers, email and hosting providers, only to deliver the service.
- Authorities: where required by law.
4. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account we erase or anonymise your personal data, except invoices and records we must keep under tax and other laws.
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may access a summary of your data, correct it, erase it, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Use Dashboard → Account & devices to download your data or delete your account, or write to us.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed, documents are stored privately, and accounts are limited to a set number of devices.
7. Children
Gottilo is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly process children's data.
